Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 4 pineapple slices
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons honey mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce and tomato for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat

Form the ground beef into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper

Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness

While the burgers are grilling, brush the pineapple slices with teriyaki sauce and grill them for about 2 minutes on each side or until they have nice grill marks

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, honey mustard, and garlic powder to create the sauce

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute, or until they are lightly browned

During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each burger patty and allow it to melt

Assemble the burgers by spreading the sauce on the bottom half of each bun

Add a lettuce leaf, a burger patty with melted cheese, a grilled pineapple slice, a slice of cooked bacon, and a slice of tomato

Top with the other half of the bun and secure with a toothpick if necessary

Serve your Copycat Red Robin Banzai Burgers with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
