National Chocolate Day Marshmallow Pops
Ingredients:
- 12 marshmallows
- 12 wooden popsicle sticks
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
- Assorted toppings sprinkles, crushed cookies, chopped nuts, etc
Instructions:
Allowing space for a grip, place a wooden popsicle stick into each marshmallow
The semisweet chocolate chips should be melted in 30-second increments in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring after each to ensure smoothness
Melt the semisweet chocolate and dip each marshmallow into it, letting any excess drip off
Arrange the marshmallows coated in chocolate onto a tray covered with parchment paper
Choose your toppings and roll or sprinkle the marshmallows in them while the chocolate is still wet
To help the chocolate set, refrigerate the tray for fifteen minutes
Melt the milk and white chocolate chips in separate microwave-safe bowls using the same technique as the semisweet chocolate
For a decorative touch, pour melted milk and white chocolate over the marshmallow pops
To set the chocolate drizzle, put the tray back in the fridge for ten more minutes
