Peanut Butter Italian Ice
This Peanut Butter Italian Ice is a refreshing treat with a creamy peanut butter flavor. It's easy to make and perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Put peanut butter, sugar, water, and salt in a saucepan and mix them together
Stir the mixture all the time over medium-low heat until the sugar is gone and it's smooth
Now take it off the heat and mix in the vanilla extract
Allow the mixture to cool all the way down
Put the cool mixture into a small baking dish, and then freeze it for an hour
Take it out of the freezer and use a fork to break up any ice crystals that are in it
Put it back in the freezer and scrape it down again every 30 minutes for two to three hours, or until it is frozen and flaky
You can serve it right away or put it in a container that won't let air in and freeze it
